Reminder- Fun Day permission slips along with $20 entry fee are due this week. We will accept order forms and money until Friday. 🤸🏻‍♀️🥇🤹🏾🎳 The fee includes: t-shirt, entrance into all games and fun jumps, nachos, and snowball! Additional concessions will be sold!! Being an extra change of clothes and a towel!!! Discounts apply for families of multiple students.

Camp Accelerate Did you want to register your students but forgot? Good news!! Late registration is now open! Please call the school for late registration.

It was a snake that caused today’s events!! It crawled onto the transformer causing it to catch fire! We are back up and running. Tomorrow we will continue with 5th grade testing and begin 3rd and 4th grade testing.

Important: There is a transformer that blew up behind the cafeteria. The whole school has been evacuated and everyone is safe. If you would like to pick up your children, you may do so.

Tomorrow is the last day to sign up for Camp Accelerate. Register online at SLPSB.org or call the school. Camp Accelerate is now being offered to current Pre-k students. Please follow the registration information above.

So far we have about 100 students signed up for Camp Accelerate! If you haven’t signed up yet, you have until Friday to do so. Call the office and we will get you registered. It’s going to be a great summer!!!

Reminder: Friday is the last day to sign up for Camp Accelerate! Camp Accelerate will provide students an opportunity to continue their academic learning in English Language Arts, Social Studies, Mathematics, and Science while also engaging them in enrichment activities. The enrichment opportunities will enable students to take virtual field trips, learn more about science and technology, engage in social living projects, play sports, and develop appreciation for art, theater, music and more! Where: Palmetto Elementary Who: Students in grades K-8 When: June 7- July 1 Monday-Thursday 8-3 Bus transportation and lunch will be provided!

COKE FUNDRAISER: The remainder of the Coke orders have arrived. Please stop by the office to pick up your drinks.

Amy Barker’s bus is not running today. Her students will not be counted absent if they cannot make it to school. We will have a bus available to bring them home this afternoon.

Friday is Jean day!!! All proceeds will be used to help the families of last weekend’s tornados.

This month’s food boxes have arrived on campus. You may come by school to pick up. Call the office 623-4482 and we will load you up!!

Report cards will go home tomorrow. Virtual students may begin picking up report cards on Friday, April 9, 2021.

Don’t forget to bring your baskets tomorrow. We have lots and of eggs to hunt!!!
